How do I get my Instagram video right?

Use a short format:

The short format takes a prominent place in social networks. Internet users want to receive the max of information in a minimum of time. They go on social media at any time of the day, on the subway, at lunch, in a waiting room… Moreover, they are getting a lot of information thrown at them at the same time. This is why a short and captivating video will have a most positive impact on the user.

Engage users in the video’s first 15 seconds:

Your video will automatically scroll on Instagram. It is therefore important to choose strong images to have a better grip in the first few seconds.

Vary your video shots:

Optimize your transitions, accelerations, slowdowns and any other techniques that can make your video more dynamic.

Add subtitles:

Instagram’s default sound setting is mute.. If the user does not have the reflex to activate the sound, he will only see images scrolled. This is why adding subtitles will allow the user to better understand the video at a glance.

Engage your community:

Ask your community questions. (What did you think of this video? Come discover the rest on my website! Do you like this type of video? What would you like to see in my videos? Etc…)
